Is the Outlaw RR2150 a good way to start with LSi 15s. I may add amps when I get more $$$$.

Yes, it's a wonderful receiver. IMO the best way to find out if you like a receiver is to demo it in your own home.

Just to add to the first question: How does the outlaw stereo receiver compare to a Rotel (forget the model number right now)?

I believe you are refering to the Rotel rx-1052. I was also looking around for a solid 2channel receiver. Its a litttle bit pricer but see if you can also audition the Music Hall maven

I have been eyeing one for a while. I wish they had black.

Outlaw warranty = transferable

Rotel warranty = NON-transferable

Just something to consider if you are/maybe going to be upgrading during the warranty period...

If I have to worry about whether I can sell a piece, I do not buy it to start with..........

West Virginia, 11 million people 15 last names.

My wife got a new bumper sticker, it says:

All men are idiots and I married their King.......

Play it LOUD..............

RT1

I would not let the warranty issue sway you one way or another. To me it is a NON-issue. Both are good products. I will say that Outlaw, even though their CS reputation is excellent, has had some glitches on a few of their products from time to time. It is one of the reasons they waited so long to roll out the 2150. It is rare that you hear of problems with Rotel gear. I talked to a dealer that sells a lot of Rotel and he says he almost never gets calls about problems with what he has sold.

Has anyone heard the Rotel rx-1052? Or do anyone of you have one?? Is worth the extra bucks how does it compare to the outlaw 2150 the Mavern and lets say the Marantz 4021

My three picks for the LSi 15s Outlaw RR 2150, H/K 3485 or NAD C 372. LI HI-FI said the NAD is the one.
