Hello everyone. I removed my mm6502 set from my door and I forgot which wire is positive :o The woofer has a positive/negative definition, but the combo midrange/tweeter unit does not. There is a black wire with a green stripe and a solid black wire. What's strange is that the solid black wire goes to the capaciters so I would assume this is the positive. But the black w/green goes to a common connection and ends up at a red mark on the tweeter, which I would also think is positive. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, maybe Josh knows the answer to this one.
Wow. Vintage stuff. I'm gonna have to see if I even have one to look at tomorrow.

You can get a small battery, like a AAA, and take two wires and go from the ends of the battery to the leads of the speaker. If the speaker moves out, that means the positive from the battery to the terminal is the positive. If the speaker moves in, then the positive from the battery is connected with the negative terminal.
