Item for sale: Sony VPH-D50Q CRT Projector. Excellent condition, throws a wonderful picture, 1080i and 720p HDTV compatible.

I will let it go for 1800 + OBO, local pick up only.

Projector comes with power cord, remote, and manual in pdf format.

I would rate the condition of the tubes as 9/10 according to the following chart: http://www.curtpalme.com/TubeCondition_RatingChart.shtm

Tubes have no burn-in whatsoever.

I will also throw in a VGA(HD15) to RGBHV breakout cable for connection to a line doubler, scaler, HTPC, or other video processor.

For 1800 bucks, it would be hard to find a better projector.

Original MSRP $9999.

Bump for the sale. Nice projector. Let me guess, youre switching over to Digital. Whats next? JVC HD1, Sony VW60, JVC HD100, Mits 6000, Epson TW2000? So many new toys being released in the next 2-3 weeks @ cedia. Im sticking with my JVC HD1

Yes, JVC HD1 or maybe a Sony VW60?

Anyone?

I'm surprised by the lack of interest in this (and the other projector in the FM)

It's a nice projector but the 1080p's coming down in price, I'm not sure how many are willing to haggle with the size and setup on a CRT anymore. Black levels on CRT FP are almost worth it but it's a tough sell on 7" CRT's. Had it been 9" for the same price I'd be interested myself but the market for 7" CRT's just isn't there anymore. I ended up leaving my CRT FP in my old house for my tenants to enjoy, it wasn't worth it to sell it.

If nobody takes it I'll put it on eBay.

$1500 gets the projector and all accessories.

Completely agree, there are so many new 1080p projectors on the horizon. I would say try AVS forum, tons of CRT freaks over there that would never switch to digital. Bump for your sale, hope you get it sold. After you get it sold either look into the HD1 or wait until November for the JVC HD100 (consumer market) or the JVC RS2( pro line), both offer 30,000:1 contrast, inky blacks, no casting a hand puppet on that screen when this bad boy is fired up. I'd jump on it, but I just cant see 8k on a PJ, so Im good with the RS1. Again good luck on your sale bro.

bump

I'd hate to sell this on eBay. Would rather let it stay within the community.
