Well, I finally got my LSi15's hooked up.

The imaging and sound stage is right on! :) Great highs too.

I'm finding these speakers are a little on the bassy side even with all levels at 0db. I'm driving them with an Adcom GFA-7700. I noticed my spikes get buried in the carpet. I need to get these speakers elevated a little more. I think that will help improve the sound. Can I buy longer spikes than what came with the speakers? Any other ideas you folks might have on elevating these speakers a little more? Thanks.

I have my speakers sitting on 18"X18" slate tile on top of carpet and it seemed to tighten up the bass and overall sound quite well.

Others may have some other suggestions also.

I just purchased 5 GIK Acoustic 244 Panels. I'm hoping this will tighten up my bass isues. Oh yeah, I also have to Ficus . . . uh Fici? At any rate, they're green and kinda look like trees. They help as well with both absorption and diffusion.

The billet brass MyeSound spikes are the balls but any 1/4-20 threaded spike will do. OregonDV offers a bunch of options for spikes.....from mild to wild.

I was going to post these as well. I just received 5 sets of these last week....great price. They seem to be the same as these at a fraction of the price.

Anybody agree with this statement from Oregontv.com.

"** Spike Tip ** - Mount (2) of the 1.50" spikes on the rear and (2) of the 2.15" spikes to the front of your speaker to obtain the correct "tilt" for correct imaging. "

I think it would be speaker Dependant.

Uh yea, why not....it's just a recommendation to use a different size for adjustment.

I too received mine today, I ordered 5 sets, I'm not sure why I ordered "5" when I really need 6....I guess my mind was elsewhere. Those oregondv are exactly the same as the canuck guy.
