Hi,
I am looking for an educated opinion about a used 10 ft pair of MIT terminator 4 speaker cables. I am using BJC at the moment but I wonder if it might be an improvement for my system, since it's said that those cables control (maybe too much some says) the bass extension. I would really appreciate some advice about MIT speaker cables. The seller asks for about 125 $. Thanks for your thoughts!!

The MIT Terminator cables were an entry level series from a while back. The T2 was the TOTL of the Terminator series with the T5 being the lowest.
To really get the benefit of what MIT cables have to offer, I'd recommend starting with the Shotgun S3's.
Here's a pair, http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?cablspkr&1194356916
The seller is top notch, never a worry.

Thank you for your input. However, does that mean I should not consider it? Since its used, I will have to live with my call. Live and learn, I know that. But on that setup (RTi10+RMB 1095), do you think it would be an improvement sonically to replace Blue jean cables (they're all right, not much more), on the bass departement, considering it was mentioned that MITerminator resolved some issues of bass muddiness? Again, any input is greatly appreciated!

I'm using MITerminator 4 on my 2-ch system. I managed to get a pair without terminations for free last winter. I soldered some bananas on them and gave them a try. Couldn't really hear much difference between the MIT and the 10GA OFC copper braided zip cord that I was using before. I stuck with them anyway because the looked better.
