I'm sure somebody had this happen! I just blew an amp channel (Anthem solid state) while playing my wonderful 1.2 TL's. Drats!! GLAD IT WAS NOT A SPEAKER!! Anyway, could this be as simple as a fuse that governs one of the channels? Or, is it likely that a component blew? This happened because of short between the 2 speaker binding posts for the blown channel (copper stranded speaker wire touched during play)....yeah, I know. Any thoughts greatly appreciated. TIA!!

Probably a fuse....check and replace, if it blows again w/o a short then there maybe other damage as a result.

i'm guessing a fuse too.. open her up and see if the fuse(s) are good.. it's tough to tell sometimes.. those fuse wires are so thin. good luck though.

Yes, took Danger's advice and opened it up. Found a bad fuse on the bad channel's board. Now, gotta find my magnifying glass and see if I can read it. I will replace and see if nothing else is wrong. Hope I get lucky. Thanks!
