Buy cables used if at all possible! Or look for demos from your big AV stores. Not sure if Audioadvisor ships to Canada, but they have good deals on demo cables frequently.

Also, have you ever thought about making your own cables? It's not that hard and worth every penny.

Those are the older models (ends are different), but still a pretty good price..

I bought mine (diamondbacks) on Audiogon....you sometimes can find good / fair deals there also
