When biamping a set of splits (sr6500's) is there a need/benefit to use crossovers before amplifying? ie
HU(cd8455)---AMP (c400.4)------XO (sr6500's)-------------Speaker(sr6500's)
ch1/2 (HPF)---ch1/2(no filters)---Tweeter inputs/outputs----tweeters
ch3/4 (LPF)---ch2/3(no filters)----Woofer inputs/outputs-----Woofers
I assume the norm is to just run a full signal from the deck's 1/2/3/4 channels, into separate amp channels and let the SR's XO's do their work (which i understand are a remarkable piece of work).
