The "low" quality seems to better than most games' high quality. :)

If I try to up it to high quality, it starts verrrry slowly loading textures and everything looks fuzzy as it tries to compute all the graphics. Can't enable shaders because of DX10 I suppose.

This game is really fun. The more you kill, the more prestige points you get, the more prestige points you get, the more weapons are available to you.

This is the mini-gun, and the humvee has a prototype alien mini-gun mounted on it.

oh yeah... Your suit has energy and you can direct the energy towards strength, shields, speed, etc.

I'm so upset they pushed the demo back a month. I just got my PC and want to run it HARD. I want to see what good components can actually do.

I'm only running an AMD Barton 2500+ with an AGP ATI X850Pro vid card, and 1.5GB Ram.

I can't imagine how good the game would look on a more up to date rig.

The game is completely unplayable on my machine, must be me running 64bit Vista.

that's a known bug...if you set your shader detail to med, and object detail to high, it will work. (it could be vice-versa...ie object detail to medium, shader to high...I can't locate the thread where I found the fix). Try both ways and one of them should work.

Yes it is, but I don't have a key. :mad:It looks like they are going to be releasing the keys in batches over the next few weeks.

It's pretty smart actually, keeps people like myself from signing up just to download this game, I'm sure the new members will be the last ones to get the keys. By the time I get my key the demo will probably be released,m so I'll just wait for that I think...

I am a free member (signed up through direct2drive) and was able to download and get a key last night.

Yeah, I'm not going to pay a monthly fee to get "free" downloads of beta games, I'll just wait for the game to hit the stores and buy it. :)

I just went to a friend's house who has also been testing it, and he played some of it. Wow. All I can say is....wooooow. That detail is absolutely AWESOME! When you bring your weapon up so your character can see it....oh my word...it's just like a picture of a real gun!!
