I need a program that can record audio files upwards of 2-3 hours....
Similar to sound recorder, just need longer than 35 minutes which it seems SR maxes out on --
Any ideas?
Thanks
Its for a church using a Peavey PV20 USB Mixer

Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/about/features)
I've used it before. Seems to be pretty good and you can can record multiple channels(seems like that would be good if recording from a board).

I've used Audacity as well, nice program. It has some nice filters for removing white noise and the like.

Audacity is great, but I'd recommend Soundtrack Pro.
Not sure if it's free, will check.

Soundtrack is not free and is Mac only. IMO, go with Audacity; Soundtrack is a scoring/looping type program used to make music not record and edit it.

Was just looking to see if it's free.
You're right though, Soundtrack is a bit too advanced for just recording music.
