As promised, here is a few pics of my home theater. It is located in the bonus room of my home. As you see I have the full LSI line up and a SPL-1000 sub. I use a BenQ 8700+ projector and a DaLite Designer Contour Electrol Screen.

Still a work in progress as I am looking to purchase a good used 5 ch. amp to handle my power...

What do you guys think?

Looks great.Have you considered adding any acoustic treatments? The room looks like it will be on the lively, reflective side and would benifit greatly from some well placed acoustic panels.

I have considered it yes. I think that would truly enhance my sound. Any recommendations GV?

That very nice. I like the cherry finish to the LSis. I have the Ebony, which goes better with my speaker stand but I cant help but be captivated by the cherry finish.

What type of stand do you have holding up the center? very nice.

Enjoy.

You have a nice theater room and I believe that you will find that money you spend on the acoustics will be money well spent. It is generally recommended to treat the first reflection points on the side walls first. Then maybe some bass traps across the corners behind the speakers would be the next step. There is a lot of great info available at both the sites I linked to.You can also build DIY panels very reasonably and they will work just as good as commercial ones if you are the handy type.

The stand is made my sanus. Only about $100 so its not to expensive. The acoustics would add to the sound and add to the look. I gotta check these out...

Very well done, I like it allot. How big is your room? How big is your screen? What PJ are you using? The room treatments will definitely add to the visual effect of your room and improve sound as mentioned. Its look good, well done and in good taste also.

Very nice indeed! What kind of power are you using currently? Are you using any power line conditioner?

Nice, clean setup, very well done. Is this room in a attic space or main floor? Just by looking at the ceilings it looks to be on an upper floor.

Congrats - Looks good. What's the budget on the 5CH amp. 200 wpc for sure on the LSi's. Good luck.

The room is 14 ft wide and 20 ft long. It is my bonus room above my garage.
I had DaLite make a 84" custom screen to fit exactly above the window. Therefore I could press a button and raise the screen and still use the window to view the outside if I wanted to.
I am currently using a BenQ8700+ projector, Toshiba XA2 HDDVD player for my video. Here's the funny part, I am using my old Integra 939 to power my speakers. Thus I am still looking for an amp.

All of the electronics are at the back of the room. I have recessed lights in the ceiling as well...

The budget on the used amp varies dependent on brand and age. I do want to buy something immediately though. I was thinking of a used Adcom 7500, just wondering if it has enough power. If you guys have or run across something else that suits my needs in pristine condition, PM me.
