...Aka "white van speakers. Utter trash. About $50 worth of part slapped together in china that are somehow worth less assembled.

Not recommended. I have not heard them, but their marketing makes Bose sound like a stand up, audiophile company... (http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/3/15201.html)

Look at the specs...not only do they spell weight " wight " :) but any speaker that large only weighing 25 pounds GROSS is a piece of junk.....give it a smack with your knuckle and wait for the echo :)

Just for reference, B&W 805 2-way monitors weigh more, have the same response and cost less than the "$3100 MSRP" of those.

People who actually buy white van speakers have no idea what a $3100 speaker really looks like.

White Van all the way. They pop up on the Seattle craigslist all the time.

They're on the Long Island Craigslist all the time also. I flag their ads whenever I come across them.

LOL $25 pounds!

I have no problem with a company starting out and outsourcing the production of the unit in China. Everything (well, not everything) is made in China. BUT, I think the heat you all are giving Kirsh (sp?) is well deserved:
1) They have obviously taken a name to play off of Klipsch
2) They are obviously deceptive and/or not operating in good faith

Its the lead in the paint that makes them so expensive.

No, but it probably doubled the weight.
