bass boost (0-12 dB at 40 Hz ).
1200 watts peak power::

I just got 2 Memphis 12" 250 watts RMS 500 watt peak power 88db


They arent hittin like they should. Im not geting the bass out of them like i thought i would. I get pretty good highs but the lows arent hittn real great.

My Question is do i need a new amp or better subs to get the bass im looking for. Thanks

we need more info, like what box you got it in (size, type etc).
What car the box is put in, orientation etc.

There are a whole myriad of reasons that could be resposible for your problems.
