Hi. I just bought a pair of RTi6's ($279), and RTi4's ($169) at Crutchfield. $450 delivered, I couldn't pass it up. I should get them next week. My question is I already have a CS245i and PSW350, and was wondering how these would sound with the new 6's and 4's. I looked in the Polk older product section, and it says the CS245i matches the RTi line.
Also, I need to get an A/V receiver for these speakers and would like to spend $500 - $1,000. I can get a Yamaha 661 or Onkyo 605 for about $500 @ 90 watts/ch., or a HK 645 for $700 @ 75 watts/ch. But if I step up to an Onkyo 805 @ 130 watts/ch. for $1,000 (or something comparable), how much better is it going to sound? I usually don't listen at high volumes and I would like one that is easy to use also.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

onkyo 805, Pioneer Elites are nice as well. Th Onkyo would give you more headroom, and prevent speaker damage with more power. If its listed @130 then its probably more like 120 watts all channels driven. Welcome to the club, you may want to upgrade your center chan next.

Here is what I would do if I were you...
Sell you current sub, buy the cheapest SVS sub, sell your center, upgrade that to a current RTi center. Buy the Onkyo 605, or much better yet, find a used Pioneer Elite receiver in your budget.
If only choosing from the options you provided... Get the Onkyo 805. Whatever you do, make sure the receiver you get has preamp outs for when you want to add in your own external amp in the future.

I guess my center and sub aren't up to par. Crutchfield has the csi5 center on sale for $299. SVS has their PB12 Plus for $898 shipped, their cheapest one is around $500 shipped. Money really isn't a problem, I just don't want more than I need.
As for receivers, any brand would be fine. I just want a good match with my speakers. On line I found a Pioneer Elite VSX-94TXH, 140 watts x 7, for $1239 shipped.
I found that Onkyo is easier to use than HK. I actually can't wait to get rid of my HK due to it's design and remote.

Move up to the CSi5 center, buy the SVS PB12+, move up to the Pioneer Elite AVR, set back and enjoy! That would be a nice system.

That would be a very nice system.
Seriously, that would be great. And no extra money would be unwisely spent.
