View Full Version : NYC / NJ Area - Small Polk SDA & HT Gathering + Halloween Party Afterwards!

Hello All,

I'm having my Annual Halloween Party on Saturday October 27th @ 8:00pm at my house in Jersey City NJ.

This year I will be opening the doors @ 5:00pm for a Polk SDA & HT Demonstration to whoever would like to come.

I have a few family members and a few local CP members who said they like to come already.

So, if you would like to come then send me a PM, there will be lots of food and booze.

If you intend to stay for the Party then you'll need to bring a costume.

If that's the actual food your gonna serve October 27th I can only imagine what's it's going to look like by then....I know its good to be prepared, but you mighta called the catering company just a bit early.....


kidding, anyway, looks like fun ill be working on my 2 huges projects due on tuesday the 30th.

My Uncle who is into stereo systems as well and maybe a few other family members and friends.

There will be family and friends in other rooms of the house setting up for the party. At around 8pm we'll have to finish up and turn the system over to the party.

What's the best way to get there? I was thinking about taking the subway into Manhattan, and then a taxi into NJ, but you probably know of a better way.

Get to WTC and take the Path to Journal Square, I'm 4 blocks from the Path @ Journal Square.

From Queens I've done it in an hour.

I will probably take the 7 Train into Times Square, and then get down to WTC, and then take the Path over to NJ.

My wife is having a partial (and potentially a complete) knee replacement done on Oct 26 or else I might make the trip. Good luck to you bog

Will the OPPO 980H play DVD-A discs?, I have no Idea.

We'll have everything except beer, I don't buy beer. The first year I bought so much beer and nobody drank it and I don't drink beer so i had to throw it all away.

We'll find out if DVD-A discs work or not, I guess.

LOL, in the previous years it ended around 1 to 2am. This year we have a new guy living down stairs, but he works late, I think he comes home like 2am, So I guess it will end at 2am.

I will have family over from Queens, You may have a ride home.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll probably find a way of getting home. I also don't want to be out too late due to safety reasons.

So - it looks like I'll bring over some DVD-A, redbook CDs, and DVDs for a demo.
