I currently have a Outlaw Audio Amp 750 which does 165x5 at 8ohms and 250x5 @4.

I have been looking to upgrade both my amp and avr.

But this thread is strictly on an amp comparison between my old one and the Earthquake Cinenova Grande 5 with the following power output:
Power Output: 300 Watts RMS x 5 into 8 Ohms; 600 Watts RMS x 5 into 4 Ohms. This would be my final upgrade for an amp.

I purchased my outlaw, because of budget concerns, as a hold me over till i could afford a better amp.

What I would like in this upgrade:
More Headroom for one
XLR inputs for the future..
Monorail design, each channel can be independently serviced
And a detachable powerplug.. cords get ruined from time to time..

What are your opinions?

After a year or so of wanting to get the cinenova, I have finally purchased it used.

Going to be picking it up tomorrow evening. Will post my impressions.

Also once I have my new amp setup I will be selling my outlaw 750.

Can't wait to pick it up and set it up.

Now gotta decide what Blu ray movie to watch first?

Any recommendations?
