Yeah, I've been waiting for this for a long time. I'm playing Portal now and if you enjoy puzzles you will enjoy this game a lot.

You basically have this gun that allows you to open up two portals, So that you can get from point a to point b. It's really crazy. look at the two screenshots, I can see myself by peering into the portal at different angles.

I've been playing Portal for a half hour now, I really enjoy it. I heard it's pretty short though, you can beat it in 3 or so hours.

Dude, I still deathmatch Quake 1 and 2, Classic Deathmatch, the original half Life - that's the great thing about Steam, you don't have to have the latest and greatest to find people to play with.

I still LOVE (and dominate) those old games. Counter Strike rocks. I played Day of Defeat for over an hour tonight while watching UFC on Spike.

Just beat Portal about an hour ago. Man, what a great game! Valve did a great job of incorporating it into the Half-Life 2 universe.

On the Xbox 360, the 5.1 audio in Portal is OUTSTANDING. The portal gun firing has a nice bass thump that made me feel like I was really wielding that sucker. Absolutely a must play game.

The second the game unlocked on my computer I played through the entire thing. Absolutely brilliant game which is begging for user created levels. :D

I still have yet to go through the Advanced mode as I am now going through listening to all the Developer commentary. :cool:

it is a damn good game..

I just beat it yesterday on the 360.

I like how when you beat it.. the splash screen is of a birthday cake :-)

I liked the ending song...

The game is awesome. A freind and I picked it up around 130AM and played until 5. Could not put it down.

All I want is extra levels and multiplayer - all I need is a pistol in one hand and a portal gun in the other.

Speaking of Steam - anyone play Day of Defeat: Source?

I wasn't going to get The Orange Box until I realized that I didn't have Episode 1, either. I had the Lost Coast, thinking it was Episode 1..

I just gifted HL2 to one of my friends. I still have one level left from HL2 that I need to finish.

I will try out Portal tonight

At First, But by the time you get to the 4th or 5th level you should be getting the hang of it. I love it. I need to find more levels!
