What is a 12ax7gp, will that fit a standard 12ax7 socket? If you decide to separate, I may be interested in trying one of the 12ax7 tubes.

gp stands for gold pin, yes they will fit in any 12ax7 socket.

I'm interested in trying out some new tubes, but have no idea how to choose. I'm currently using PhilipsECG 8626 JAN 6922. Are any of the ones you're selling compatible with my pre? I would need two.

I should grab a pair ofthose 12at7's for backups....i bought my jolida used so who knows how many hours are on these tubes(i never believe what sellers say anyway....other than on this site)
