Just in case your wondering why am i using 6 gauge cables. It is because i have about 60 ft. of Ox. free 6 ga. Monster cable and i would like to use it.
Could somebody please tell me where i can fine either a banana, or a pin type connector. I've tried several electronic stores, car audio, Guitar Center, google, and no luck.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Is it stranded? Just remove enough strands to fit in a connector for 10ga wire or so. Solder it up, and it will work fine.

I would think since it's 6ga M*nster Cable, they should have a connector avail. Check with M*nster

I like these (http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=095-676) The right angle terminal ends eliminates the need to bend the cable. These will fit 8 gauge, cut a few strands out.
I also like these Monster terminals, (look here) (http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=185-182) they will fit a 10 gauge easily. Each spade terminal is a two piece unit which screws together. I've actually stripped two 12 gauge wires and slipped them through the connector, then screw it back together, no soldering. Easy to use, one of the few Monster products I like.
From the website:
Self-crimping, 24k gold contact, heavy-duty spade connectors. 2 piece screw-on design for easy and reliable crimpless and self crimping termination. Wider base minimizes shorting. Special teeth & ring-lock for strong grip that stays tight and delivers a high performance connection. Cable entry in the base is .25". Wire entry is .15" and will accomodate 8 gauge wire. Package includes 2 red and 2 black Quicklock spade connectors
