In lieu of my recent acqisition of the Toshiba HD-A2, I am selling my Oppo DV981HD. It retails for $229 + shipping from the website which is what I paid for it. I will include the original that shows that I paid $243 and some change. It will come packed exactly as it is shipped from Oppo and has the latest firmware update. The ONLY problem with this unit is that the battery door on the remote is taped on. Everything functions flawlessly on this unit and is fresh as the day that I got it around last Christmas. I don't have pictures because it is packed up and ready to ship. But visit http://www.oppodigital.com/dv981hd/dv981hd_index.html to get the specs and look. These are very well recieved on this forum and elsewhere - I never would have gotten rid of it if I hadn't lucked into the Toshiba. I am asking $175 plus shipping costs (over 50 dollars in savings!). I will double box if requested, but literally this will ship EXACTLY as it was shipped to me from Oppo. Any questions, please ask.

That depends. I have never shipped anything to Canada before. Is it much different than shipping domestically?

I think there may be some crappy custom forms to complete but it's no biggie.
It would depend on the cost to ship here... Let me know if shipping to K4A0B1 would cost a fortune.

I will check into it. In the meantime, I'd rather ship domestic as it is much easier and cheaper. If nobody within the US wants it by the end of the weekend, I will gladly ship to Canada pending the cost.

It looks to be between 25 and 30 dollars to ship to Canada according to their website. Please let me know if you are still interested.

Hmm at that price it's almost worth my while buying new from a Canadian E-tailer. As tempting as it may be, as that is the one I want, I'll pass.

Am I priced too high or is there just not enough interest in the 981? If it doesn't sell by Monday, I will probably put it on e-bay. Price seems fair (consdiering I will pick up shipping costs) with the completed auctions off of e-bay as a guide.
