Hey guys, I am looking to go another direction with my theater gear, and have decided to list some of my stuff for sale.
Emotiva LMC-1 Pre/Pro, purchased in July with most current firmware and HDMI switcher included, absolutley flawless, in 100% mint condition. I have experienced zero glitches. It is a great sounding pre/pro. It will ship in the original packaging, with all original accessories including remote, HDMI switcher, manual, etc.... Currently selling at emotiva for $518 with shipping, asking just $... plus actual shipping. EDIT: Not currently for sale...
Emotiva LPA-1 Amplifier.... you guys all know the specs, this amp is a bit of a brute! Absolutely flawless, zero problems, 100% mint condition. Purchased with the LMC-1, this will also ship in factory packaging, double boxed, just like it came from the factory. Currently selling at emotiva for $543 with shipping...
Asking just $SOLD plus actual shipping. EDIT: SOLD!!
I will provide a copy of the receipt to the purchaser. These two pieces have a FIVE year FULLY TRANSFERABLE WARRANTY! That leaves you with 4 years and 8 months of factory warranty available. I would be happy to scan the receipt for anybody that needs it.
Finally, I am selling the Toshiba HD-XA2 HD-DVD player pictured as well, it is also 100% mint! It looks brand new, and functions perfectly. It too will ship in the original factory packaging. It has the latest firmware update, and will include all the factory accessories also, including the backlit remote and owner's manual. There may be a little bonus here too, is a transferrable (for a $15 fee) Mack 4 year extended warranty on it!!
Asking just $460 shipped anywhere in the lower 48! EDIT!! SOLD!!
I am located in Boise, Idaho 83706. Local pickup is ALWAYS welcome!
Hollar back guys, and let me know.

First of all that's a lovely setup you have there, both in sound and in looks!
If you do end up wanting to sell the LFA please let me know. Although i'm waiting for the upcoming model with full wattage on all channels, I could be tempted to go for a current LFA-1 if the price is right...they just raised the price up from $449 last week!

Dude, I went to Sight and Sound YESTERDAY to inquire about the 7100 for you again.... Bill wasn't there, and the salesguy said he would ride bill for a price and get to me yesterday.... didn't happen. Makes me kinda mad. What did the 7100 cost ya? You can PM me if you want to...

Already had a bit of interest in the LPA-1.... The LMC-1 has to go first though.
Would the LMC-1 be a substantial step up from the Denon 3803 that I'm using now as a pre/pro?
Question is open to all who wish to weigh in, PM me if you would rather not post in the thread.
Also is the remote a learning remote?
Thanks,
G

The remote is a paper weight, you need a good universal with this setup.... that is the honest truth!
The rest of the honest truth, though, is that most will agree that the Emo processor should smoke your AVR. It is a very sweet sounding unit, movies or music.
What amp are you using?
What amp are you using?
Sonance HT5150 that I picked up here in the FM from Carlos.
That looks like a nice pre/pro, I've always been curious as to the difference one would make. I need to gather more info, as for now I'm just window shopping.
How do you like to be payed should someone commit?

All I want to say is -- BUY IT!, especially if you desire a simple setup and aren't terribly concerned with being an early adopter of the new HD formats. Obviously, I fall into this category.
The Emotiva combo will simply smoke any receiver at any price. Hell, the combo is 84 pounds with sounds.

Agree with EB. Separates are definately the way to go to have your music sound the best.

Well, nobody has stepped up and paid me yet, and I am kindof having second thoughts about selling them! I may wait it out until the LMC-2 hits the streets... then it will be partay time! These just sound that good.
I actually got to thinking.... why not get another LPA-1, and biamp my front three speakers, and use the other LPA-1 to run the surround four? Overkill? Maybe, but I like the thought!

K guys, now just $430 shipped for the Toshiba XA2.... you may have noticed the latest firmware update allows bitstreaming of TrueHD, and fixed the 1080p/24fps thing.... VERY NICE!
Also, the LPA-1 is still available and ready to go. Still just $399 plus actual shipping from 83646!
I would like these sold ASAP, ready to pull the trigger on another Amp!

K, the LPA-1 is sold pending payement.
The Toshiba HD-XA2, I just found out it shouldn't be a problem to get the Mack 4 year warranty transfered to the new owner.... THAT IS FANTASTIC! With the HBR audio support, this HDDVD player can't be beat!
BUY UP FOLKS! ;)

In case anybody is wondering, I am picking up a used MPS-1.... yummy! 7x300 @ 4ohms... 7x400 @ 2ohms! Ya, it is 2ohm stable. Should give massive amounts of power to my LSis on demand! Woot!
K, the LPA-1 is sold pending payement. ...
Thanks for the info sb ... too bad for me though: I'll only buy the LMC if I get a LPA also. If I have to get the LPA new, I'll probably just get the whole package for $950 (if I can swing it, that is). The only other thing holding me back for now is the cfrizz theorem of good music: "Thou shalt not use less than 200w per channel into 8 ohms of external amplification"! I'm hoping it might be a cure for chronic upgraditis too.
If I get your LMC-1 when the LMC-2 comes out, that would be about $400 with shipping. The LPA-1 is currently $543 when sold without the LMC-1, so it would cost me basically as much to get a new LPA-1 and used LMC-1 (even a very good one) as a new package, and I wouldn't have to wait for the new one ... I would also benefit from the current owner upgrade offer ... sorry, I'm just thinking out loud here.

Whether it is or isn't, you don't discuss something like this in a Classified ad.

Just the DMC-1 as far as I know.

Is the XA2 still available?
"Thou shalt not use less than 200w per channel into 8 ohms of external amplification"!
While a good rule of thumb to consider, it's not the gospel. Just make sure that the amp you choose is 4 ohm stable(preferably 2 ohm) and high current.

Hey guys, I have heard the same set-up running La Scala's. The LPA was pushing only 5 channels though with a Tube Amp Pushing the Rears (with an HT bypass for 2 channel). It sounded Amazing and if SB does not put the LMC back on the market, you can have the whole set-up shipped from Emotiva for just 799.00 shipped for the pair.
