Now the proud new owner of the 10ft pair of MIT series 4 terminated speaker cable. This cable is absolutely monsterous.. (assuming this is an actual word).

I have yet to put them through their tests, but I currently have them hooked up to my little Klipsch Quintets and I can tell you there is a difference when comparing to the typical Monster 16 gauge speaker wire.

I love the plugs, versitle and can even be used for CLIP connections, while still being able to be plugged into typical banana ports. Couldnt ask for better.

The sound seems more refined, and it takes less power to achieve great "power-volume" ratio.

Once I get the pair of LSi-9s, the real tests shall begin. In the mean time, the Klipsch will be used to break the wire in.

Wire does indeed make a difference. Whether its difference is worth the cost is another thing. But for 81 bucks... ahhh not bad.

Are they bi-wire capable?

Phuz,

The MIT Series 4's are unfortunately, do not have the bi-wire extensions. Just simply 2 positive and negative connections.

I was incredibly tempted to purchase the MIT Series 2 bi-wire's for roughly $40 more, however, the $80 for the series 4 was already pushing my financial envelope a bit.

F1Nut,

I currently am fiddling around with the cables, connecting them to the Polk R15s and the Klipsch Quintets. It sounds sweet. Im sure I will have a spaz attack once I hear the LSi9's sing.

EDIT: Way too many type-o's.

nice,
I like to see people learning about wire and actually hearing a difference........MIT is a good company...sister to Transparent.

Mantis,

I can attest to hearing a difference with wire. As stated before however, whether its worth the price is another story entirely.

I have heard many good things about MIT and figured I would go on a limb considering there are no distributors around here to get a good demo on. So far- So good :)
