Question...

I have 5 Monster Cable Reference 2 1m interconnects connecting my amplifier to my pre/pro and 5 Reference 2's connecting analogs from my XA2 HD DVD player to my pre/pro. I need one cable to cover the .1 LFE.

From my sub to my pre/pro I use an 8' Monster Cable M1000i subwoofer interconnect. To keep things consistent, should I stick with another Reference 2 cable to cover the .1 LFE connection between the pre/pro and HD DVD player or would you suggest something else?

I hate buying a pair of cables when only '1' is needed!

Thanks!

If you have booms coming out of your sub, then you are all set!

You need one more cable or you can drop the 5.1 outputs from the HD-DVD and go straight analog or digital to save money.

I would guess the sub analog IC is probably the least discriminate of all 6. So, get a cheap singe RCA somewhere and try it out, or post what length you need here and I'm sure someone can hook you up (literally) for very cheap.
