it's getting into Christmas season, not a lot of people are buying for themselves currently. At least I'm not and it seems to be that way in other areas.

Got the upgrade bug & got the ae2000u,the 900 is in perfect shape no smoke, it was on the ceiling so no abuse to it!

bump for both projectors, the new one u have and the old going to a good home. Both throw a very good picture. I heard the Panny 2000u is on par with the JVC HD1 I have. What do you think of it so far? Sorry for the thread jack. Back on topic, hope someone buys this.

I upgraded from a 480p to a 720p unit and the difference is night and day.

Keep that filter clean always so it will last a long time.

thanks, appreciate it.

by the way, lou, is there any thread hereabouts on how to clean them filters.

im looking forward to getting it, im moving up from my old n trusty panasonic ae100u the first one (i know, you are probably rolling up yours eyes) but it has served me for over 2100 hours and no problems at all.
i was waiting for the right time and price to go 720p.
i will have to find it a good home but i cant wait to check out how my hd-a2 will fare with this.
like the seller was telling me, im jumping a few generations ahead from my ae100 with the 900 :)

The filter is really easy. It's on the side of the projector. Just press a button and it slides out, vacuum the dust out of it and put it back in. I do mine about every 40 hours. Also I would recommend running the bulb on the lower setting. The difference isn't worth running it on high.

Chevy said it best,it's very easy to clean so it's best to do it once a month for best results.:)
