got this CD tonight, I can't stop listening to it. I think i've played it about 6 times in a row already. I'm not a huge Bowie fan. but this cd had all his biggest and best hits on it. and I got it for free. (sold a bunch of used CD's to the store for $140 in store credit).

If you like David Bowie, this is a must have for fans.

I own nearly every David Bowie album there is, including the greatest hits cd that I keep in the car. It is a good compilation. I have found over the years that with Bowie songs, I either love them or think they suck and except for Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars his albums all contain some real dogs and some outstanding tracks.

Yeah got it myself. Awesome collection. You guys get the 2 disc version ? It's the only way to go.

Almost all tracks are digitally remastered but disappointingly "underpressure" wasn't.

Funny, when I went into Bestbuy, the rep didn't know who David Bowie was!!!

Dangerboy,

I probably lucked into it when i found the 2 disc copy because i don't see too many of them around ...at least not yet.
I personally think the 2-disc version is worth it considering I don't have any of the Bowie albums and don't want to buy all of them especially when they all haven't been remastered.

FYI, here's the track titles for each disc:

Disc 1
space oddity
the man who sold the world
changes
life on mars
moonage dream
suffragette city
ziggy stardust
all the young dudes
the jean genie
panic in detroit
rebel rebel
diamond dogs
young americans
fame
golden years
tvc15
sound and vision
heroes
d.j

disc 2
ashes to ashes
fashion scary monsters
under pressure
cat people
let's dance
china girl
modern love
blue jean
this is not America
dancing in the street
absolute beginners
time will crawl
under the god
jump they say
the heart's filthy lesson
i'm afraid of americans
thursday child
slow burn

Virtually every track is remastered ! Interesting to see the dvd version as well .

Was driving around today.. listening to Bowie.. cranked up the Polks in the car and man the sound was kicking my butt. Love the remasters on this disc.

favorite Bowie song.. hmmmm, either changes or rebel rebel, maybe even ashes to ashes, space oddity is good too. hell i like em all.
