Has anyone heard of these speakers, good or bad? I see the adds all the time on Agon and they kinda piss me off. One asks if you are suffering from deppression and you click and it is their ad (http://www.polymeraudio.com/depression/) another talks about madness and is another ad (http://www.polymeraudio.com/madness/). They go on to bash other products and call consumers of other speakers foolish.
Not sure if these things are a joke or if they are actually a serious speaker company. They use diamond for their mids and gold on their other drivers, they retail for $25,000 per pair.
Their ads seem to bash other companies saying "The construction cost of any other competitors’ product is at least 10 times lower than the Polymer Logic." and "Do you really want to spend $10K or more of your hard earned money on a fancy box with a few drivers that add up to nothing more than just a few hundred dollars?".
Another ad talks about how people suffer from depression knowing they spent so much on XXX brand when they could have gotten much better performance for less. They continue on their site comparing their speakers to the likes of Avalon, Verity, Joseph Audio, Wilson Audio, etc.
I just don't get it, is it a joke I somehow missed?
