FXi50

I own the RT55, CS400 and RT25 speakers, I'm looking to replace the rt25's(surrounds) with the FXi50.

Question is, will it be a big difference in timber matching? I know the FXi50 has a 1" tweeter and 6.5" driver, or should I look for the FX500?.

FX500i would be nice but the FXi50 is basicly the same speaker. It won't be a problem. Mixing a front stage (main/center) would be a little more tricky. 1" tweeter and 6.5" driver matches your front stage exactly. That is what u want to do. To get technical your rt25's were the miss match. The FXi50 will work great - good upgrade. ;) Welcome to the forum!

I don't see a major problem with that......if you can find a pair of fx/500's or even fx/500i's you'll be cool which ever way you go.

The older models match perfectly and probably will cost less....
