I was just curious if anyone here had much experience with the sony E3000 series, either the 46 or 50 inch version. I have been eyeing this model for a while(most likely the 46" if I do), and always curious to hear what people say. I am curious about picture quality, with SD(I have a Sony dvd player that can upscale, basic dish network, which I am not sure I will upgrade for a while even if i do get one, and an xbox 360, with HDMI port), and also HD things, such as the upconverting dvd, and the 360. In the store, best buy and circuit city have this model, and it looks gorgeous from what I have seen, comparing it to others in the store. Not the best, but not too bright, and natural looking. However, having been told not to go by just what I see in the store, here I am. Any feedback or help and discussion is greatly appreciated. I have seen the 360 on a 65" Toshiba dlp, and was beautiful, but I am looking more for feedback on the mentioned sony models.

Do it, stop looking at it and buy it. I feel Sony Bravia and XBR series tv's are the best LCD type and over all DLP tv's on the market today. The only tv I would take over all the current sony models is Pioneer. I feel there plasmas can't be beat by anything. Sony is a strong 2nd.

I would buy a Sony twice on Sunday.

Excellent tv man. They look fantastic with Blue Ray , Xbox 360 , Ps3 and anything else you wanna send it in HD quality. Standard looks like ass but it looks like ass on everything thats HD.
