Hello I have the Polk RM7600 with the PSW650 subwoofer they are conected to a Harman Kardon AVR520.
My question is my front right speaker is about 35 feet from my receiver; my left front speaker is only 12 feet away from the receiver. My two rear speakers are the same distance as the fronts. my center speaker is 22 feet away from the receiver and the sub is 20 feet away.
I am using Monster standard 14-gauge CL3 speaker cable, do I need to make every wire the same? That is, all of the wire should be the same length to each speaker regardless of distance?

In theory yes,
the front 3 should be the same length for timing reasons...SO with that being said, take your longest run..in your case 35 feet, and cut 3 equal length's.Now as for the rears,if you can use 35 feet to reach both rears..........I believe your system will be the first I've been with all equal distance runs(excluding the fronts of course).I think this would be a very good thing.......why not right?????

That is the way I have my wires set up. 15 feet to each front and center speaker and 35 each to the surrounds.

What about a four speaker stereo setup?

Welcome to club polk Todd. In the future you might want to start a new topic rather than bringing up a dead one from 8 years ago. :)

or, you could move the speaker with the longest cable .0015 mm forward
for each extra meter of speaker cable to deal with the timing issue.

Electricity travels quickly, so, unless you can differentiate sub-nano seconds, do not worry
186,000 miles per second, it is just not a good idea, it is the LAW

Well technically that is the speed of light in a vacuum, but I wouldn't bother with that distinction unless you want to get into the sub-sub-nano seconds.
