Diane Schuur - Anyone else follows her music?

I've several of her albums, and tonight, I dug up one of her albums and played it:

This is one of her best work, as it turned out (for me). It has the most balanced recording, rich in details and nuances of the band, her vocalese repertoire and inflections convey the emotions.

Well, enough superlatives, if you are into Jazz vocal standards, this is one of the album that you can use to showcase your speakers. Lots of nuances that I am sure you can appreciate.

I've heard a few of her tunes on some GRP label various artist type discs. Very nie voice. I haven't heard much of her lately.

Right now Frances I'm listening to the Al Jurreau and George Benson collaboration from earlier this year. I wasn't all that impressed at first, but I'm warming up to it.

Yes he is! But I doubt that he lives here anymore. I've never seen him play, but he's very good.

I like her. Very unique style, very much like Dianne Reeves. I only have her "The best of". Will look into this one.
