I took one of my Manley amps apart this morning to tighten a loose speaker output post and noticed the board inside is signed "Manley". Couldn't make out the first name but assume Eve Anna. It never hit me that a "signature series" would actually have a signature on it somewhere, at least not a hand written one. I thought it was pretty cool even though you can't see it without taking the bottom off. Something else I noticed was some of the signal caps had hand written stuff on them, I'm guessing numbers where they were matched with each other. I love this company!

So much for your spending moritorium!!! I just might have to put the bug in Phyllisann's ear to keep your ass straight.

I never heard a Manley amp, but I sure would like to. Just on their looks alone they are quite impressive. I'll bet they sound as good as they look to. Some day, some day.

I got it back together and it still worked. I guess its because I work as an engineer but man I hate the thought anymore of taking something apart to fix. Just the thought of it makes me want to call it a day and go to bed. Mods are different because I get excited about doing them but even that gets old.
