Don't NEED, but highly recommended for a good solid rich sound.

Been lurking for a while here. First post
I was going to jump on the RTI 12's today to match with my CSi5 for HT, but every Frys in Houston was sold out before 5pm.
anyone know why?...is it because of the RTi 2008s? Whats the difference?Because the RTi A series is already out.

Mainly from what i have seen theres no difference between the drivers, but the cabinets are curved in the back in the A series.

You might as well build a dam in your back yard to drive these boys.;)
Well, maybe not. You can run them on any major brand electronics, although they do like high current amps. Bottom line, don't let your amp/receiver stop you from taking advantage of a deal like this.

as others have pointed out in other threads, order 1 speaker in 2 seperate orders to save about $50 in shipping charges.

I drive them with a D-Sonic Magnum 1000S. 525 watts per channel and those 12s sing like a fat lady in an opera.
