I am torn between three subwoofers. I am on a budget so I am trying to stay below 220. The setup I am planning on getting includes a harmon kardon avr 146( reciever) some polk r50's as my mains. The subwoofers I have norrowed my choices down to include polk audio psw303, valodyne vx 10 and the jbl sub 10 venue series. Which of these will be the best one to buy. My room is 20X12.

I have an Infinity 8" sub in one of guest rooms at my house and I was really amazed by the quality of sound and how loud the sub hits. I paid $150 for it on sale and it was worth every penny. You can prob find a 10" version these days for around $200, or keep your eyes out on here or craigslist for a velodyne, you can prob fine a good deal on one for around 200-250.

Check out the Bic H100. I paid $239.00 off ebay shipped and it is an impressive sub for the money. Makes my HT very enjoyable.

+1 for the Bic H-100. I used to have a polk sub, but it didn't even come close the to the Bic.
