You're not going to get great sound recording from a video cam, of course, but all in all, not bad !
The Polk quality comes through anyhow. :)

Camera work kind of sucks, though.

Looked to see if there was a registered "Humptoomuch" on here, and there isn't.

If you run all three videos at the same time and close your eyes, kind of reminds me of a day at the beach.... :)

WOW!!! Is that what my 60's are SUPPOSED to sound like???Granted, he's got a CS1 vs. my RM202(I know it's wrong!), but I'm assuming the sound quality has more to do with his amp., seeing as I don't have one:(
Thanks for posting that. I've been trying to figure out if my 60's would benefit from an amp.???

Anyone know the name of the first song he played? It says it too... something like "this lovely vow - momma cat"? Way off I think

I tried that, and it made me want to go to a jazz club, hear some tunes, and eat a ham sammich.

Good Stuff Big Blue!

I gotta get some of Cass' music.

Ya know she was another one like Karen Carpenter who had the smooth voice of angel that just were tormented by demons.

Ain't that the truth.

And, despite my obscure reference to a ham sammich, she died from myocardial infarction (sp?), not from eating a ham sandwich.

She was in love with John Phillips (from the Mamas and the Papas) who, unfortunately for her, didn't love her back.

Mama Cass. Karen Carpenter. Janis Joplin.
All giants, some voices smoother than others, but great.

Here's a little video of Mama Cass on the Johnny Cash show (after she went solo):

We have Mama' and Papa's Greatest Hits and for a 30 year old recording, it's still one of
our favorites. Sounds great on SDA's.
