Suggest: Adcom GDA-700. Its an inexpensive dac, very good, and decodes HDCD. I love mine.

My 2 channel rig is in flux right now. I might even consider selling my Theta Pro Progeny DAC. . . .

I'll think about it this weekend and ping you if I choose to sell. It's fantastic. . .

As always I'd like to get all I can for as little as I can. Maybe keep it under$500.

I'm using a Musical Fidelity A3.24 and am very happy with it; stereophile Class A recommended component (as if this meant anything...). Paid $500 for it in Audiogon.

Any preference in sound quality? I like NOS Dacs like the Ack Dack, Peter Daniels Audio Sector, MHDT Paradisea, Diy Paradise Monica, Promitheus Audio DAC, etc. NOS has it's own flavor though, more laid back and smooth then regular dacs.
