Ok. i think I may have finally scored something decent at GW vinyl this time. Sheesh... i tell ya.. my local GW doesn't carry much vinyl at all.. and most of it is holiday music or something I would never even try out.

I'm pretty selective when it comes to plunking down my fiddy cents for a used album you know. :p

I can't seem to find out anything about this Miles Davis LP

says.. Miles Davis - 'round about midnight
digitally remastered directly from the original analog tapes - Columbia Jazz Masterpieces - mono CJ 40610

I haven't be able to find any other copies of this exact one anywhere.. while it might be somewhat rare.. it could also be similar to the K-Tel records of it's day too. :p

oh yeah.. don't mind the flash on the album cover. i had to use a flash to make it look pretty

Nice score, seem to be going for $5-$20 on ebay.

I have 2 Miles Davis albums myself, Bitches Brew and Sketches in Spain. Good stuff, enjoy!

Good find. Decent jazz is hard to come across at the Goodwill by me, too. Did manage to find a Maxell Jazz Sampler album with Oscar Peterson on it and a Count Basie/Verve album, though. Nothing as good as Miles, though.

That's a great find. The only LPs I have seen at my GW are in nasty shape.

you got that right sister.. ;)

although on the liner notes it mentions the compact disc, so this must have been pressed some time in the 80's when CD"s were already established
