After nearly loosing sleep over this contemplation, I have decided not to keep the SDA's despite others in the household actually wanting me to keep them (thats a first). Rest assured, this is an incredibly difficult decision, one even to this moment Im still not 100 percent sure about.

Regardless, this purchase was sparked by curiousity with the intent of profit. I swore to not buy another pair of speakers for personal use and I intend to uphold on my word.

I have 6 more days to determine what to do with the SDA 2.Bs. I have pictures of these speakers (though Dark, I will need to take some more pics with daylight)... Unfortunately I dont have a server to host them on so I can only E-mail them to those curious to see the rig.

I am here to consult you SDA experts, and find what a reasonable asking price would be for these speakers. Or better yet, whats the most I could get for them in their current condition (which I would consider to be OK).

Any advice / estimates would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Z

ATC,

I agree with your statement that the 2B's lack bottom end bass. I found the bass can be improved by using high-end MIT cables and a clean amp. They still didn't get as low as my 2.3TL's, but it's acceptable. If you decide to sell them you might want to try some 1C's, they have better bass too.
Since I haven't seen your speakers, I can only quess about the condition as you described them. I would say $300 to $400. I'd keep them because there is nothing like the sound of SDA's.

Cheers,
Jesse

And finally, the frontal shot. Considering most SDA owners do not place them in a position to where the back-side can be seen, I reserve doubts about the importance of its "beauty".
