If you ever wanted to give a DAC a try, this one is a real performer. Here's my link at 'agon. I'll gladly sell to a Polkie for $675. including shipping to CONUS. I'm selling it for $700 on 'agon. http://buy.audiogon.com/cgia/cls.pl?dgtlconv&1205945894

There was a problem with 'agon, the pictures didn't get posted. I'm working on it & hopefully they'll be there shortly. Thanks for looking.

They're working now. Nice DAC, I almost jumped on one last year before they went up in price.

I remember you were VERY happy with that DAC when you bought it; what's replacing it? Is the cambridge that good?

Yes, the CA is that good, & also I'm setting myself up for a music server (Squeezebox comes to mind) that will be inevitable down the road. The CA also has digital inputs that make use of it's superb DAC for such a server. This way I'll have the best of both worlds. A single player & a music server.

THis is a very nice sounding DAC and it has the tubiness upgrade. It is in mint condition. What I liked most about it was that even though it was being fed by a crappy carousel transport it made CDs sound smooth and mellow like LPs.
