I'd go for the BD30 at around that same price.

Really depends if have an HDMI 1.3a receiver and want to bitstream the lossless codecs (Dolby TrueHD or DTS-MA) or if you want to send multichannel analog to your receiver. If you have a 1.3a receiver, then the BD30 is better because it can bitstream all of the formats and its a 1.1 profile player.
If you want to send analog multichannel out, then the bd10 is probably better because it can internally decode DTS-HD/TrueHD and has 7.1 analog outputs.

Heck for the price, might as well get the ps/3.
Pros: already has HDMI 1.3, can internally decode audio or play them at bitstream
Cons: Bluetooth only remote :(
