What is the difference? Is the cheaper one NOT Dipole/Bipole?

No the cheaper one is exact same. I know cause I have four of them mounted on the walls around me right now. They were out of stock when I placed my order, but they arrived in 3 weeks after ordering.

Even though your links don't seem to work, i know what you are talking about ;)

yeah, weird how the links aren't working. I was just curious cause the cheaper one says nothing about dipole or bipole...and I don't wanna spend money without getting that.

I've seen this before with other products; same item, one sold and shipped by Amazon, the other by one of Amazon's partners (Crutchfield in this case)

Are there different model numbers for the A4's?

Polk Audio FXI A4 AM4425-A - that's the one from the $250 one
The $399 one doesn't list a model number

Also, and sorry for seeming like an idiot...

But the $399 version states that they are sold as a pair. The $250 version doesn't say that, and when I go to the "More Technical info" link at the bottom it says:
Technical Details

* Item Package Quantity: 1

i ordered two pairs of the $249 ones like BeRad, and they are the regular fxi a4's. they came in pairs, just like the $399 one. i think amazon misquoted the price (the orig price should be $399, not $299 like they have up there). i would jump on this deal before they figure it out. if you order two pairs, you can get a $200 credit toward a polk subwoofer. i was able to snatch the psw125 for only $23.

I don't think amazon is still offering the subwoofer deal anymore.

i just checked, and it looks like they are still doing it. once i got to the payment screen, it showed the $200 off. i think the sub deal ends on 2/19, but i'm not sure.

Yeah, I got $200 off of my DSW Pro 600 at Frys when I bought my 4 RTi10's

Then I sold 2 of the RTi10's for 400.

And now I'm buying the FXi A4's for $250.

That's $150 profit!
