upgrading from a HT-SR800

In researching speakers, I'm also looking at new receivers, subs and amps. I don't want to break the bank, just get the most out of a new setup. For receivers I've been looking at the Yamaha V661 and the 1800. For subs, all I've heard is the Velodyne 4000, and with amps I'm clueless.

This is what I'm looking to power:

HDTV - Panasonic 58" Plasma (TH-PZ58700U)
PS3 - 60 GB
HD DVD - HD A30
Dish HD receiver

Fronts - (currently looking at RTi8)
Center - (CSi5 - if I can find one)
Rears - ?

if you are looking at the rti8's, i'd take a listen to the new rti 5's
