Packing/shipping electronics

I have recently gotten some new audio gear and it was packed with a very dense foam...not styrofoam. A bit spongy, but still very dense. Any idea where you can pick this up? I also have had stuff shipped with some stuff that seems like it has been molded, maybe with heat? It is brittle and very messy. Wanting to find source for best packing material. Thanks.

That "molded" stuff is some sort of product that is injected with a machine, then hardens to the shape of whatever it was poured on. Lots of bubble wrap works real well ans is available at office supply outlets.
