Was just listening to this CD the other day -

http://www.amazon.com/Amarantine-Enya/dp/B000B8QEYC/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1201638545&sr=8-1

And I have to say...it rocks! I have never heard such dynamics and crisp detail from a CD until I heard this - it's recorded VERY well.

I didn't notice much compression on this disc as it is recorded much lower than most modern CD's; I had to turn the volume up 5-12dB compared to a modern rock/rap CD.

Enya is some of the best, well recorded, ambient music out there.

Yes, this is great music for calming down after a stressful day, or when doing the dishes.

It's absolutely great!

Same here, some songs have some deep powerful bass. Our first dance was an Enya song..well not a song as there are no lyrics, in it thus being a piece.

If I remember correctly, I found out (on this forum) that "The Longships" on Watermark has some subsonic bass.

I think that is the one, her music is very different. Easy to listen to.
