Ok I am annoyed.

This guy on ebay is selling a sherbourn amp. Yes I'm still looking because my adcom was lost in shipping.
so anyway...

This amp is listed on ebay but on the back picture it looks like it is missing 3 sets of binding posts. This is the Sherbourn 5/1500

So I ask the guys what's up, he says the unit is fine, I send another email telling him the unit looks like it has 3 sets of holes in the back of it, why not 5 sets of binding post, he sends me a very rude email back, saying you get what you see the unit is fine, and I dont have more than 2 feedbacks so I dont know what I'm talking about... Maybe! but I know I only see 2 sets of binding posts on a 5 channel amp and I know those posts are supposed to be connected to electrical boards inside right?.

So If I am wrong, can someone explain it to me, and If I am right, will everyone go to this list and blast this guy for selling an item and not being honest?

You are correct, three of the amp channels are not installed in the chassis. Check out the back panel in this review....

I took it a step farther, I am really getting sick of shady f$%k heads on egay:

Listing Violations > Fraudulent listings (illegal seller demands, you
didn't receive item, etc) > You suspect that a listing is fraudulent
you didn't bid

Item number(s):
150211331594

Message: is not accurately described, the seller describes it as a 7
channel amplifier although it is only five, and three of the amplifier
channels are not installed in the amplifier, although the seller says it
is "fully functional" and five channels. If you look at the picture of
the back of the amplifier, you will see two pairs of binding posts, and
at the link below you can see the picture of how the amplifier should
appear if it is truly a five channel amplifier. The seller answered
another members question about this subject very rudely, which also is of
some concern to me, I think he is knowingly trying to deceive someone
into buying this incomplete amplifier. Please refer to the link below to
see what a proper version of this amplifier should look like:

Well I don't pay to much attention some times and I thought it was a 5 channel amp, or supposed to be. Regardless he openly posted that he is violating ebay's terms by selling an item that is different that the item in the title: My question and his answer:

The 5/1500 is a 5 channel amp, but this appears to only have two sets of speaker terminals. Are you selling the 5/1500, or the amp pictured? Because...more

asphynctersayswhat-You are bidding on the amp pictured.. Question posted.

What an idiot, I also reported the listing to ebay. Love to find out where people like this live.

He did the same thing to me, I just got the answer. He included "it's worth every penny of the opening price"......Sure it is...:rolleyes:

thanks guys, my goal was to harrass this suckwad, I'm just learning but I'm sure some poor fool will buy it (i almost did, glad I caught that), thinking it is 5 channels especially when he lies when he answers.

The guy wrote, Iceman I am shaking, I am relisting but dont think it is because of you, I did some research and it is 2 channels but it is still the same price...you new guys kill me...

I love how tough people are over the internet. I would love to see this loser in real life
Me = 6'2'' 265

For the record, I was gracious and sincere in my questions and this guy was an arrogant condescending dickwad everytime he answered me, by the second time I got a little rude in my last question.. Thanks for the back up.. now i have to go find another amp, the outlaw on audiogon I was looking at got snatched up...
