I picked up three Everest recordings, oh, probably sometime last summer and this morning I cleaned them and have been listening to Mahler 5 and Prokofiev's Chout ballet.
Wow. Now, the condition of the LP's is, oh, VG. So the are dinged up and there is some surface noise. However, the quality of the recording? Top freakin' NOTCH. These couple of recordings absolutely blow away any of the Merc Living Presence and RCA Living Stereos of the time. They are THAT good.
