Single Monitor 5A
I bought a pair of these locally a while back, knowing that one needed a new driver and passive radiator. I have decided not to get the parts because I really don’t have a good spot for them in my house. They’re just taking up space in the basement. I have the good one playing right now just to test it out again; the 5A is a nice sounding speaker, as you folks know.
So, if anyone needs a single for a center channel, or needs parts, thought I’d offer it up here before taking it to eBay.
Options:
1) The single good 5A plus the tweeter and crossover (spares) from the other.
2) For parts and to save on shipping - I can remove the good components from both so you would get 2 tweeters, 1 driver, 1 passive, and 2 crossovers.
$40 plus shipping (or local pick up in the Cincinnati area) for either option.
Cosmetically, the good one has a couple small nicks on the edges, some pilling on the cloth, and the drivers/tweeter are a little dusty. From a couple feet away, they look OK.
