Hi All,

This is my first post here, so please forgive me if this question has been asked before.

I have a pair of Polk Monitor 10a's that I am currently using for my L&R mains in a combination Stereo listening and Home Theater system. I love these old Polks and don't want to give them up as my main speakers, however I would like to find a speaker that is a good tonal match for the 10a's to use as a Center Channel Speaker as part of the whole Home Theater setup. Do any of you have a recommendation for an appropriate Center Channel Speaker to match my old Polk Monitor 10a's?

Thanks for your input.

Regards,

Treker

Hi Treker, I like the name and welcome to Polk.

The CSi line is the best match. The current Csi A6 would probably be the best match.

But take a look at this.

Thanks for the link. I'll take a look at it.

I also like the sound of your "FrankenPolk" center channel, as I have thought I might try something like that myself. I figured I could pick up some of the old 6.5" Polk drivers and a Peerless dome tweeter off of e-bay and roll my own. Is that basically what you did? Do you have any pictures of and info about your "FrankenPolk" Center Channel?

Thanks,

Treker

I went with a 1cuft enclosure from parts express, I could have gone alittle smaller. Like .75
