Rotel RDV-1060 DVD(DVD-A)/CD Player - 9/10 - Silver/Black - *SOLD* to Beekyman

I used this for a couple weeks while my Sony was on the bench being stared at. It's an excellent player with an uncolored presentation and typical Rotel build quality. The unit is an '04 model with low hours and I'm the second owner.

It was produced between 2002-2004 and was the replacement for the RDV-1080('01-2002). The RDV-1060 has upgraded audio DAC's(Cirrus Logic) and a better video chipset(ESS) than the older model. It also has separate 2CH analog outputs in addition to the standard 5.1 multi-channel outputs. I'm perplexed by the choice of model numbers from Rotel and they have no answer for me.

I've read nothing but great reviews for the audio portion of this player, and most Rotel DVD players for that matter, so don't discount it as a music source component. The Analog Devices/Burr Brown opamps are very nice choices for audio.

Here's a couple specifications:

Let's talk, start a dialogue.....what do I need to do to get you into a Rotel?

If I didn't already have the RCD-1072 I would be all over this. If this sounds anything like the RCD-1072 then all those wondering about DAC's, transports, etc. should just buy this and be done.
