Recommendations for a phone preamp

I'm getting a noticeable hum on from my Odyssey Tempest preamp (common problem with this particular preamp I'm finding out). Anyway, I tried all the grounding tricks, polarity reversal, etc, without success so figuring the quickest fix (aside from sending it back for a several weeks to get worked on) is just to add an outboard phone preamp (Moving Magnet) and hook into the AUX jacks. Not looking to go the overly expensive route on this but wondering if there is an affordable one out there that would fit the bill? I see NAD has one and Rolls makes a couple that look promising but haven't heard any personally. Anyone have any experience with these (or perhaps others) that I should consider?
