I have found and have in my clutches, at least 5 (maybe more) original, and I do mean original, JATP recordings. They are more than mint. They are open, but don't appear to have been LOOKED AT, no less played.
I am so freakin' awesome.

You freakin' wish. You may need to suck down some more of that shit that they had you all grogged up with in order to get over the heartbreak of not getting one of these.
I'm buying a vacation house with these. All on Verve. Rancho Vervo. Nice.

All the years of throwing around Mantovani, Herb Alpert, Donny & Marie, have paid off. This will make up for the time about 10-11 years ago. With what I know now, and ebay, a $200-300 investment back then ..........
I was working for radio station "WWJZ, 640 on the AM dial, playing ALL the hits of the 30's, 40's and 50's. WE are the station that remembers." It was horrible but I was helping somebody out by DJing for cheap at night on the weekends so it was a humanitarian thing. But "The Board" we had was really ancient and sounded freakin' great. We sounded better than most FM stations around here. The station engineer was a really unctuous guy but he was REALLY good at maintaining The Board and all the transmitting shit. Anyhow, I'm doing this thing and kind of looking for stuff to play on the air in my spare, spare time. About an 1/8 mile from my house on the way to and from everything, sign goes up outside a farmhouse. "Thousands of Big Band and Jazz LP's For Sale, $1 each." I finally go in, but I'm looking for stuff to play on the air. I want Sinatra, Benny Goodman, Patti Page, Perry Como, Percy Faith, etc., you get the picture. First of all, there are about 15 steel racks filled, almost floor to ceiling. TENS of THOUSANDS would be my guess. The collection originally FILLED the guy's garage, he died, his daughter has the farmhouse. I'll bet they eventually ended up going for a dime apiece, shit like that. The collection was sparse with the stuff I needed for the radio station, cause it was almost exclusively Verve, Impulse, Riverside, World Pacific Jazz, Prestige, and every other great jazz label. It was ALL there for the taking, at a dollar a pop, maybe less. You name the highly sought after jazz artist, they were represented and sometimes with entire anthologies. I get sick every time I think about it. 1/8th of a mile from the house.

You got your bottle rockets. I shipped them to you about three weeks ago. UPS confirmed delivery, even though you didn't. NICE TOUCH!
